ik deleted GTGina.dll but now i can't turn on my pc. i tried to do it with the repair console of windows xp, i copied the file from another pc to a CD and tried to copy the file on the disk back to c:\windows\system32 but i can't type a ":" (i think i tried all the buttons with shift and alt gr) so is there another solution? can you just repair the whole installation of windows xp without losing your files because i didn't make a back)up of my pc

If you can get to safe mode command prompt, you can try a system restore.
At boot, start tapping the F8 key to open the advanced options menu.
Use your arrow keys to highlight safe mode with command prompt then hit Enter.
    At the command prompt type:
    %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
then hit Enter and follow the wizard to restore to a date before you changed anything.

doesn't there have to be a back-up where you have to restore to?

System restore justs restores your registry to an earlier time. It doesn't change any personal files or folders.
The only way this will not work, is if you have system restore turned off.
This should help explain System Restore.
