What operating system are you using?

My WinFax Pro 10 would work on XP until Service Pack 3 and then it would not reinstall. I have not been able to get it to install on Windows 7 either so I finally settled on a program called FaxTalk which is an excellent product.

Microsofts built in FAX is OK too for occasional faxes but if you send or receive many, a commercial product will be better.

This link contains information on the WFXUNIST.ISU error , but read all the details first so you know what you are doing. Use the manually
uninstall link

If you are planning to reinstall winfax, You will need winfax version 10.2 or 10.3 to work on XP, and help with some of the errors winfax gets with SP3.

But you are much better off with Faxtalk as DCW1519 has said, which I also use, Winfax is outdated.

My OS is Microsoft Windows XP Professional

I am trying to upload Norton Security Suite and it has a message at start up that says I need to uninstall and then reinstall.... but when trying to uninstall I get the message ..

So I am looking for advice on how to get that file so I can uninstall.

I do not need a fax program at this time and probably tossed the above file while trying to clear an old WinFax Pro I no longer use.

Any ideas on that?
