capture screen from dos

    Hi!
    there are dos games that i can capture the screen [by pressing printScreen key]... but there are games that don't let me... how to capture the screen into bmp?

    Most newer games already have a key assigned to take screen shots. Using the print screen will usually take a ss and put it on the clipboard which you can then paste in an image program.

    true flyeater, but Dos and newer games dont really go together. I havent seen a real 'new' dos game since i was like 9. Dos doesnt support SS's normally like MsDos Prompt would because its a spawn of dos run on windows, which actually takes care of the print screen function.

    *edit* you might want to get an external program thats purpose is to capture screenshots

    i tried SnagIt 7, HyperSnap-DX 4, no success...:(
