Capturing stream-convert

I wonder...lets say I'm listening on a live radio stream, is it a way using etheral (capturing stream and saving to file) to convert this stream (TCP) to mp3 so I can listen to it again?

There are programs that can capture streamed audio. Google capture streamed audio.
