When I pressed the power button, it didn't boot but only the case fan spin for only a split second and stopped spinning.

Hi Sicken, and welcome to TSG.

A typical cause for this would be an overloaded or shorted power supply output. It turns on, senses the overcurrent condition and does a safety shutdown to prevent further damage.

If you expect any further assistance from anyone here, you'll probably need to tell us a few things.

Is this a new build or is this computer worked OK for some time and is now suddenly failing?
EDIT: If this a new build, you should try the new build troubleshooting guide that is a sticky post at the top of the hardware forum threads list.

If this is a stock computer from a major manufacturer, please tell us the name of the manufacturer and the full model number.

If this is a custom built or modified computer, please provide a full parts list of all the major components.
