catch up no good get this

    So we gather...:D

    I'm just not in favor of having yet another program starting up as Windows loads, drawing my attention to software updates I may not need, or may actually be counterproductive.

    I prefer to decide myself whether I'd like to apply an update or not.

    But everyone has to decide that for himself
    If it works for you, more power to you!

    you have the option of it not loading at startup:

    you also have the choice of what updates you want to apply

    or not for that matter

    I did most of my major updating with catchup, then tried the bigfix link. I found that the bigfix link was too envolving with my computer. As in what TonyKlein said.

    I ran the program and they only had one thing to upgrade. I went back to the catchup website and they pointed out 7 things. Catchup just did a thorough job. IMHO

    Symantec Web Services use to have there own update software but now they use CatchUp too.

    Guess Symantec could never get there update program to work right but they have the use of cnets CatchUp now.
