cctv connection

    Hi I have a cctv system at work which I have been able to view remotely on my home computer, however my hard disc collapsed and after having new one fitted have not been able to view . It is windows 7 and have altered security settings as before but only get as far as do you want to allow this program to make changes on computer and when i say yes it appears to try but all it get is black screen and the program stops dowloading
    Have took back to computer shop and they dont appear to Know answer , any help greatly appreciated

    Hi and welcome to TSG.

    I am confused by what you mean by, "the program stops dowloading."

    Are you using a web browser or some other software installer/downloader to download another file or program?

    Are you trying to re-install some kind of software for viewing the remote CCTV system and the installation stops?

    Have you re-installed some kind of software for viewing the remote CCTV system and you get the error when the program starts?

    hi whta i mean is internet explorer icon starts moving as if downloading the pictures, then stops immediately

    hi what I mean is that internet explorer appears to download the pics with the icon rotating the stops immediately . the active x is all on etc
