I just started to use the cd burn function on my computer for burning letters, etc. I have burned mucis with no problems, but it will not let me burn any other data. I tried to save a letter from Word by going to Save As, then, E/: , and got a message that said : E incorrect function. I clicked this off and I got a message that said: you do not have access to this folder E/:, see administrator for access. This is my home computer. What can I do to get to burn data to the CD? any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have some other CD burning software on your machine like Roxio, Sonic or Nero? I would use one of those and burn a data CD. You would save the letter as a MS Word file and then burn that file to a CD.
