You mean after you have broken the copyright on the artistic content of the music by copying the CD, you expect there to also be a free source of the copyrighted label images?

I really don't think so, at least no legal source ....

This is a good one (donation ware) MA3D.

MA3D (Mp3 Amazon Album Art Downloader):

Ma3D is .NET application written to allow the MP3 collector to download and view album cover art. Album art can then be automatically viewed in most popular MP3 player programs such as Winamp (using a plugin) and Microsoft Media Player 9.

Ma3D makes use of the latest in web technologies, SOAP and WSDL to easily and quickly search for cover art related to a particular artist or album. The cover art is retreived from amazon.com using their web services interface and saved to a user specified folder.

A user may search for album covers in a variety of ways,
    1. Mp3 ID3V1 tags
    2. Manually entering an artist name
    3. Manually entering an album name
The first choice assumes the Mp3 has been properly tagged with artist or album information. Using these fields MA3D performs a query at amazon.com and lists all the possible choices.

Another good one Album Cover Finder (free version).

Album Cover Finder is not just about artwork!
Getting more out of your digital music is our goal and Album Cover Finder delivers with a great way to enhance your listening experience. Sync up to iTunes to find great information about what you are listening to. Or do a search and explore on your own. It is always fun to learn a little bit more about the music you love.
