My PC frozen so I had to CTL-ALT-DEL.
When it came back up it didnt recognized either of my 2 CD rom drives. I have rebooted 3 times and still no drives. I looked at the Config.sys and it is empty.

    Can anyone help?
    Im running WIN98SE

    Thanks

Go into device manager, are they listed there, if so, select each and hit remove, then reboot and see if all is well

By the way, there shouldn't be anything in your config.sys unless you had real mode drivers installed which is not typically done
