I just installed a new asus p4s533-x mobo. that was a pain because it would not reconize my cd drives. then suddenly they showed up and everything was working fine. now they are not working again. i have tried the jumpers, switching cables, removing the 2nd ide conn. but to no avail. i am wondering if the conn. is bad because the drives show up when i conn. them to the primary channel. i even tried running my hdd to the 2nd channel and it wont show up there either. Is the motherboard bad?
