My cd and dvd drives are not working. I ran a diagnostics and passed the self, seek and read tests. I uninstalled and reinstalled the the Intell Bus Master IDE Controller. I also checked the Bios settings, restored defaults and cleared the NVRAM. The drives open but the shortcuts don't work, they aren't in my computer or in any program I open like RealOnePlayer. In the device manager I get a code 19: the registry is damaged. I don't know anything about the registry, or computers for that matter. In previous posts there is something about opening the registry editor but I'm unsure how to do that or if that will cause more harm than good. Any help is greatly appreciated
