This may have been posted before but I can't find. Using a 24x10x40 cd-rw, do you have to use special cd's or will any work? Thanks, Gary

Yes... any speed CDR will work to record at any speed on your 24x. It just depends on the quality you want. A higher quality CDR will ensure your data is copied without any errors... a lower quality has a slightly greater chance for it. For CDRW, I am not sure, but this is something we discovered at TSG not too long ago... a lower speed CDR, say 4x records just as fine at 24x as a 24x CDR does... so no, if you are wanting to use the full power of your CDR you don't have to buy expensive 24x CDRs. :D
