I can't get any audio CD's to play when trying to use Microsoft CD Player (Start| Programs|Accessories|Entertainment|CD Player). It was working fine some time ago. The CD-ROM unit is ok, and audio CD's will play from Winamp or Media Player. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and the CD-ROM audio device driver, but no luck. The program actually "plays" the CD (I can see the playlist and when I press the start button the timer starts, just no sound comes out.
    Thanks.

    Hiya

Which version of WMP are you using and what is your OS?

When you say you're having problems with audio CD's, can you hear any of the music in other programs? Is it a certain type of media file?

You may want to check for viruses, just in case:
