CD-ROM drive being selective :[

    Seems like my CD-ROM drive only wants to play DVDs? Any game or music CDs and it whirs for a few seconds before giving up... I've tried different things, deleting upper and lowers, running different registry cleaners, setting default in BIOS, drivers are all up to date, i've disabled my virtual drives and everything... Any help would be much appreciated! (y)(y)
