cd rom failure

    Can anyone tell me why when I boot` it will say boot atapi cd rom failure .I am not booting from cd .

    sounds like your system is set to boot from cdrom and the message means it didn't find a bootable cdrom.

    To check enter bios setup and look at your boot options, if cdrom is selected that's probably the cause.

    Thank you ,I will try that .I's not causing any problems yet. I just did'nt know why it thought it was booting from cd. Let you know if that worked
