    Howdy,
Sorry, but I could not find this info on the internet. How many kbits/sec does a 4x cdrom read data at? Also... to convert to 8x I would just multiply that kbits/sec by two?

    Thanks,
    computerpain

A 1X CDROM drive read at about 150 Kbytes/sec. Everything is just a multiple of that. So 4X is 600KBps and 8X 1200 KBps.
