My girlfriend has a Lite-On LTR-52327S cd burner. It was working fine for a long time, but now it doesn't show up on My Computer and it won't read any cd's.

It still has power to it ,and apparently is still plugged in because it shows up in the device manager (with a little yellow '!' on it). When I try to update the drivers or use new drivers, it tells me
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (Code39)"

Anyone have any ideas? If it won't even let me load new drivers, I'm not sure what to do (although I might be using the wrong drivers or something)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
