I have WindowsXP and before I was able to burn cd's and play sims.....

my son burned a cd the other day and now When I put in a cd it doesn't read, it not even a store bought cd.

I'm wondering if I'm possibly on the wrong drive or something. It's supposed to be D:drive but when I would look at like my pics on my cam it would jump to E:drive before all this happened.

Please someone help??

Go into device manager and uninstall the CDRW's drivers and then reboot.

Thank you I'll try it....I did that just to get the drivers before I formated but didn't help. Maybe since my computer is fresh now it might work. :)
