CDBOOT Couldn't find NTLDR

    this is my first post on this forum and I have having a problem that I was wondering whether you guys could help me with.

    right now I have been booting from the CD and am trying to install windows xp
    everytime it gets to Press any key to boot from CD it comes up with and error message that says, CDBOOT : Couldn't find the NTLDR...

    I have no ideas of what this could be and am wondering if you could hlep solve this problem......

    Is this an original XP CD or a burned copy?

    This can occur with a defective CD or CD drive.
