I have two CDRW drawers. The bottom one is fine. The top one wants to voluntarily open and close with or without a CD in it. It seems it doesn't read the CD and is opening again for a disc. How do I fix this? Have you ever heard of this kind of problem?
Thanks, Ruchel

Welcome,

Does it just open and close when you put a disk in or does open and close on its own at times?

It just opens and closes when I put a disk in. No, not on its own at times. Thanks for clarifying my problem and for the welcome too.

Try a CD Cleaner and if that still doesn't solve the problem your CD drive maybe faulty.

Thanks again for your suggestion. The drawer is now operating as before problem started.
