Purchased a CDRW on ebay in August for a friend and am now trying to install into a dell computer. We cannot seem to find the driver anywhere for this drive. The sticker on the back of the drive says it is a PIA GIOR......found out that it is the same company as philips but still cannot find driver. Model # is h-9027 which is also printed on the back of the drive. Any idea's on how to possibly get a generic driver for this?

What for a driver? Or do you mean a burner software?

You do not need CD-ROM drivers for Windows. Maybe it isn't the right jumper on the CD-ROM drive or the cable isn't in properly or defekt. Or you have to change your BIOS settings.
