cdrw write speed

    my cd-rw has lately started to only write at 2x even though it is a 4x. it's an atapi cd-rw 44-24 (2 year old). the driver is the generic mscdrom.inf. help please

    I learned from another thread that the first thing you try is to get a can of compressed air and clean out the inside of your drive!
