Certain buttons on keyboard stopped working

    yesterday suddenly a bunch of bottons on my keyboard stopped working (a,q,z,1 are the buttons). I have a toshiba satellite laptop. thanks for any help

    I don't know about Toshibas but on a Dell laptop you can usually fix a problem like this by reseating the connector from the keyboard to the system board.

    any idea how i might go about doing that on a toshiba? and no i dont think they work in safe mode either.
