id like to have when i open windows explorer, not the my documents to always be open. I want just my computer and the plus marks next to my drives. is this possible to set the default opening to something other than the "my documents folder?" Any other tricks for windows explorer anyone?

To save just repeating the contents of other sites, simply search on http://www.google.com for:
    windows explorer switches

These are the characters after "explorer.exe" in the command line (right click the shortcut for Explorer and select properties to see/edit the command line)

Right-click the shortcut, Properties. In the Target box, paste:

    %SystemRoot%\explorer.scf
