    And how are you trying to change the font?

    If you are running Windows XP, and you want to change font properties of the most common visual elements ( icons / windows titles / error messages ;) ) then look at this microsoft knowledgebase article:

    Have you tried changing the font size by diong the following:
    From your desktop, right-click and select "properties." Then select the "Apearance" tab and choose your font size.

    Another way to increase the font size is instead of going to the "Appearance" tab, go to the "Settings" tab and click the "Advanced" button. then increase your DPI settings (large, small, or custom).
