Changine IP on PDC

Does anyone know if there are any implications if you decide to change the IP number of a Windows NT PDC.

Basically I need reconfigure a small network with a non-routable IP address range. But keep the same domain name. At the moment the company is using a routable IP private address range. I want to change it to a 192.168.*.* range but I am not sure if I will mess up the PDC/Domain configuration if I do so.

I always thought you couldn't change your IP address, that they were picked by your ISP and changed everytime. With this in mind, if you can specify 192.168.*.* then I would think you shouldn't have problems. Some one else should verify this though.

is your server using DHCP or static ips?

if using DHCP, you just need to config ip's on the server, if it is static ips, dependig what is your current ip address, like if you have some thing like 64.23.4.5 and you want to change the server ip to 192.168.1.1 then you have manually change all your client ip to 192.168.1.x in order for them to see your server
