Hi Guys, new here and trying to do something which I find an answer to in the Windows Help system.

I have recently changed my wallpapers after finding software that allows me to display different images on my 2 monitors. When I did this I find a nice icon set that matches the style of the new wallpapers. I found out how to change the desktop icons via the Personalization setting, I have also changed the shortcut icons placed on my desktop for new ones. But when I go into folders I am faced with the default Windows icons which I hate and do not want any more.

Short of hacking the registry (which while capable, I am reluctant to do as I have never touched it before) - is there any way to change the default icons for the new ones I downloaded from VistaIcons? That site only tells you how to change the desktop ones sadly.

Also can I replace the "start" icon in the taskbar as well? As the icon set has a more modern version which I would rather see there.

IF anyone can help that would be great.

    Thanks and heres hoping...

    Max
