Hello,

I changed my default media player to Winamp. Now, when I try to download and play a media file, I'm getting messages from Windows Media Player and it won't play my file in winamp...somtimes. Sometimes it will play in Winamp. Is there a way to get rid of windows media player so everything will play in Winamp. I tried to delete WMP from the "Add/Remove Software" and "Remove Windows Components" options but it didn't work. THanks for any help you can give me.

If you changed your Default player through Add/Remove Windows Components there shouldn't be a problem.

But you can try right clicking on the files you want associated with Winamp and choose Properties then Change button and choose from the list Winamp and click OK.
