Changing format from fat to htfs

    I received a computer from a company upgrading their equipment. It has windows xp professional on it. I have no disks.
    When I try to format a disk in A drive it formats in FAT. How do i change it to format in htfs? When i go to Disk management it states Layout (Partition); Type (Basic); File System (NTFS); Status (Healthy); Capacity (19.13 GB) How can I get it to format my A disk in htfs?

    Floppy disks use only the FAT12 file system regardless of the sytem used for the hard disk. In other words, you can't change the file system for a floppy. See this article for more info:
