    windows 7 Can't uninstall a program as system(?) can't find, install. log file. What is it and where would I find it?

    I am trying to uninstall a u-tube program and I get the message that, install. log file. can't be found. I don't have a clue about that file. what's a tag?

    You can try Revo uninstaller (Free Version) what is the program called?

    Tags are something you can put so people can find you Video on YouTube that way. Say for a Cowboy film you can tag words like Gun,Western, etc

    What is the full name of the program you're trying to uninstall? "u-tube" looks like www.youtube.com. I've not heard of any other legitimate program with a similar name. www.youtube.com is a website, and you don't have to install anything to use it.

    I don't see a toolbar available for download on the YouTube website. If you have something installed called "utube", then you have malware or spyware. You will probably run into problems trying to remove it. The experts here should be able to help you.

    all the youtube toolbars are problematic

    follow advice here and post the logs those programs make

    When I click uninstall for these two programs, weather channel screensaver and u tubr video toolbar I get this message from wise uninstall, could not open install. log file. Then I am lost as to where to go

    dvKo1, I didn't ignore your solution. Too a neophyte like me it is giberish, Ihave no idea of what you wrote or what to do or start to apply. I wish I was more literate and had some local help, which I am working on. At my age none of my friends have a computer. Sorry to disappoint you. Maybe Tech Support isn't for me!!

    It is very simple, follow the link & download the programs & run them
    If you can't do that then, there is no point in asking for help on a forum. Your only chance is to take the
    computer to a local computer repair shop & get them to fix it for you
