Hello there! My Dad amongst his internet travels ran into a driveby site telling him to update firefox and picked up what looked like a bitcrypt variant virus. Luckily he turned off the computer and had me look at it when I got home. I ran Norton Power Eraser twice and removed some bad entries. It now comes up clean. I also ran MRT and Webroot Antivirus that is already installed on the computer and those came up fine. I also reset Firefox just incase...

I think I may have headed off a disaster, however I am a ISP network tech by day and am I am not an virus removal expert. I would like to see if anyone would like to have a go and have a second look to make sure its clean. Any assistance would greatly be appreciative.
