B.M. is BookMark Express which came with my scanner. It isn't my favorite thing to have on my machine but it is part of the scanner software. I tried to delete it once and the scanner quit working (that may have been coincidence). Supposedly they do not collect personal data. I have it in quarantine right now so we will see what happens. I just read more material on this an according to them I should be able to get rid of it without losing my scanner. So being in quarantine shouldn't hurt a thing. After a couple of days I will get rid of it all together. I don't think that is what is causing problems.
I have used: HouseCall, Norton, AVG, AVERTStinger, Spybot, HIjack This, Spyware Blaster, Adaware, Microsoft's AntiSpyware tool, paid version of XCleaner, and just for good measure, Win Patrol. ALL of them report that this machine is clean. I also use Process Viewer and IE Privacy Keeper. I don't know what to do. My ISP...good old Cablevision, says that there has to be something...they won't request that my IP addy be removed from the list. Of course, I can do it myself, but why won't they? Also...my machine is running just fine! No signs or symptoms of infection. Just call me very confused! LOL Thanks!

When trying to send email yesterday I got messages that said that they could not be sent because my IP was listed with "Spamhaus" Now I know that it is a group of listings for IP addresses that are known to be sending out mass mailing worms, trojans, viruses or have open proxies. I have scanned this machine with every scanner I could find. Furthermore, I use them faithfully. I even ditched Norton and am using AVG free now. I think it is better than Norton. But I do like some of Norton's utilities and extras.
Anyway...I am listed with cbl (actually they just unlisted me at my request), NJABLDYNA, PDL2, REDHAWK (temp dns problem), SBBL, SBL-XBL and SORBS-DUHL.
Seriously, name a virus or spyware scan and I'll bet you I used it since yesterday! LOL All were clean. I can't for the life of me figure out why I would be on their lists.
If you have any ideas or suggestions, just send them to this old lady that is now bald from tearing her hair out! No kidding....I have had a headache since yesterday from trying to understand their "speek" and decyphering their terminology is a real challenge. Thanks for checking the log for me. I was pretty sure it was clean. I just reformatted last weekend and I know what is on this thing. You are an angel for helping us poor folks out! Thanks again. kid :(

I checked my IP today and it has been removed from cbl, sbl and xbl. Whatever that means! LOL Anyway, I did request that my IP be removed and apparently they did it. Thank goodness.
Now.. the IP: 65.87.146.123 is not listed. What is that?
Believe me, even if I didn't know how to find my IP, I have it memorized after entering it in so many little boxes. So....I will run my IP at: www.dnsstuff.com and see if the others removed me as well. Wish me luck! I'll let you know and thanks again for all your help. I do appreciate it. You're the best!! ;) Have a great day. kid :)
