In the days of DOS, we had a command-line hard disk and floppy disk checking utility that scanned for and marked bad sectors and showed those sectors on a graph as it scanned.

Is there such a utility today for flash memory?

I am not interested in checking the speed of the card, only interested in knowing if it has "bad sectors" or whatever it may be called for flash.

Yes, HD Tune free > Error Scan tab. Connect the flash device before starting HD Tune then select it in the drop down at the top.
