How do I check my CPU temp and the fan speeds within Windows XP? I know how to check them in the BIOS, but I would like to check the temp while i'm installing software and doing some generally fiddling around. I just put the system together tonight and the only thing on it right now is XP

get a program called everest home edition it is free

and it will tell you more then you may need to know about your pc in one extremely easy to use program.

it also has a memory benchmark

(my PC uses SD pc133 memory and i have a memory read speed of 2016MB/s and a write speed of 622MB/s)
