I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 and since a few weeks back Ive been having "choppy audio" Im not sure if this started after an update or just on its own. When I turn on my laptop the audio sounds fine but after a while using it the problem starts. If I restart the computer that fixes the problem but its very annoying, I already upgraded the audio driver but that did nothing for the issue. Im sure someone knows something about this and any help would be really appreciated. Its very frustrating not being able to listen to anything. This problem affects everything audio related. itunes, windows player, internet, dvds, everything. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you.

Maybe you have too many programs running ? Check msconfig > startup tab , to see what programs are set to auto-run after login.
