So I am trying to restore Chrome to a previous version. I click on my operating system, then I click on users, then I click on my name, then I click on AppData, then I click on local, then I RIGHT click on Google and go to restore previous version where there are a bunch of dates to restore to. I click on one to restore it but when I go back to Chrome web site it is not the restored to that date. Can someone help me fix that?

I'm not clear are you trying to downgrade the version of Chrome browser that is installed ?

If so these are the instructions

Also be very aware of this
Downgrading Chrome automatically deletes all user profiles and cache data, so only do it if absolutely necessary. That means you'll lose all your bookmarks, etc.

I am trying to restore Chrome to a previous version.
You said version then you changed it to date.

I was able to find something that you are trying to do.

Note: these instructions are 5 years old and I'm fairly certain that they would not work now.

What exactly are you hoping to change by selecting an earlier date?
I suppose you are currently running 86.0.4240.111

This are more recent. Note it is user data shown and not Google.

Notes for me: Chrome updates in October 2020

I am trying to get all my opened tabs back that I had opened before chrome crashed. I like to have tabs opened when I sign on.

These tabs within Chrome are NOT part of the OS, so a system restore will not bring them back!

Write down what you did so if you need it again, you can find out exactly what you have to do.

I'm glad you got it to work.
