Upgraded from Win7 to 10. Lost internet connection. Got a winsocket error. Researched it. Tried fixes. Didn't work. My question - does this Cisco router require drivers? The Cisco website shows 2 downloads available for this product but neither appear to be drivers. The analog telephony / router is still working, just no net connection. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Routers do not require drivers. Your network card however does. Have you checked device manager for any errors and to ensure that the network card is detected correctly?

Lets see what IPCONFIG says; open a command prompt from the Search box, so type CMD and press ENTER, then type or copy and paste in the black command prompt box:

    IPCONFIG /ALL | CLIP

That will run that command and copy the results directly into your clipboard, then right click and choose Paste into your next post the results.

Thanks for the reply. Upgraded vid & network drivers with install. Ultimately imported registry keys for winsock & winSock2 from another machine & this did the trick.

    Glad to hear.

FYI, you quoted my post three times originally in your post, I've edited to just get it a single quote.
