    First Name:
I have a friend in a large city who lives in an apartment and has no land line phone - only her cell phone. She gets only the tv service she can pull out of the air, so no cable. Someone gave her a computer and I'm wondering if there's a solution she can use to connect her pc to her cell phone and get internet. I know there is for laptops, although I've never used it.

How is the quality and speed vs. regular dialup with a land line?

I know she could get really cheap internet with access4free, netzero, and some of the other providers - it's a major city, and she's in now way ever likely to become a power user. lol Dialup would be fine.

Going to try and find out what exact equipment she has, but looking for suggestions.

I believe that's going to depend on her wireless carrier as well as the brand/model of the phone (not all phones have kits available to accomplish this).
Can you post back with that information?
