I deleted all partitions and did a clean install of Windows XP Home. Now during startup it shows two different XP Home OS to choose from. Only one of them works, but how do I get rid of the second one?

Does anyone know if this will create a problem? I've already changed the stratup and recovery settings in System Properties so it doesn't ask what OS to use. Do I need to delet the other XP Home for any reason?

start > run > msconfig
Click the boot.ini tab
Click Check all boot paths.

Or you can do what you did. Manually edit the boot.ini file.
