in the computer properties my used space shows 34,233,307,136 bytes and free space of 5,782,163,456 bytes

I did this disk cleanup of all checked file but compress old files still shows the"compress old files 2,512,415" even tho it too is checked.

So how can I clean that up too?
Is there a way to read all those files before cleaning them up?

looking up FAQ I saw this...is this the way to go?

For me, there's nothing to think about or ponder. I would never delete any files through a disk cleanup utility. Your system actually needs old files and even some "temporary" files such as log files should you ever want to uninstall certain programs.

Some people literally clean their systems to death and then end up with tons of problems only a reinstall can fix.
