How do I clear the cache from the CD-Rom drive? I need to run a benchmark on it to make sure it is working properly but the program keeps telling me that there are files in the CD-Rom drives cache. Any help is appreciated.

The only thing that comes to mind is the temporary directory where files to be written to a CD are stored.

    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning

I would think that the cache would be emptied upon ejection. But if not, surely rebooting will empty it so long as you don't insert any CD's.
