I am having the devil of a time getting this annoying sound out of my home machine. Running Win 98, P2 basic setup. Had AOL and switched to netzero and now have this clicking sound when I turn on the speakers. Thanks

I had that whenever I went into one particular program. Thought it was a fault, but finally worked out it was the timer in the program which produced a click every second. Mute your sound and see if the noise is still there.
