This is really annoying!!! The clock on my computer is always exactly 10 minutes slow. Even when I change it to the correct time, a half hour later it is 10 minutes behind again!! Please someone help me.

Double click on your clock > go to the Internet Time tab and uncheck Automatically Syncronize with internet Time server

Maybe all your other clocks are exactly 10 minutes fast?

Better yet, try using the "net time /set" command, to sync with a valid time server. You can do a search online to find one.

It is probably the CMOS battery.
It is a simple little disc about the size of a Nickel.
It is mounted on the Motherboard.
It keeps the time and runs the BIOS.

Simple fix for just a few $$$

Yes but if her clock is always off by 10 min it probably isn't the battery. It is probably syncronizing with a server that is 10 min ahead of her time.

I would think that if she were on a network and was having such a problem............She would go to the Admin, not us?
