Has anyone ever used clonemaxx? I downloaded it and put it on a floppy. I have my computer set to boot from a cd because I cloned it once with Ghost. I know I would have to set my computer to boot from a floppy and then will it work similar to ghost to clone to cds?

    Thanks Bug

    Hello,

I asked this question about PCI CloneMaxx a few days ago with no response. I was wondering if anyone had any information about how the program clones your drive of choice? Is it in the form of an image file or does it literally copy every file. I tried XXCopy and it wrote over 460 files I had on my secondary drive. So I am a little hesitant to try PCI CloneMaxx until I can find out some more information. There is no support forum or help file with this program. I am in the same boat as you. Sorry I can't help out. You would think someone has tried this program already.

    Good luck!

I sent an email and this is what I got back. Didn't make much sense to me.

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for your mail. As bootable disk, you should have used only a floppy disk. Moreover, please, be aware that with the program Clonemaxx you can clone entire hard disks, not part of it or CDs.

Should you have further questions, do not hesitate to contact us again.
