I did a bit of research on cloud gaming after comming upon onlive's cloud gaming service... it turns out that they process what you press on your keys to a server and that server processes the info and streams it back. This way you don't require large downloads or a high spec PC.

    I was thinking about this...
Is it possible to set up something like onlive's cloud gaming service at home on a server for home use?
So I could download all my games on a high spec and fast computer and be able to play it on another pc without any latency issues?...

I'm thinking connection speed shouldn't be a problem... I can play onlive games with little to no latency issues.. and home networks are supposed to be faster than what your ISP gives you (in my case its 14 megabits/sec or around 2 megabytes/sec).

Is there some complicated process to just setting up a home "Cloud gaming" service to enjoy at home? or is there some EXTREMELY COMPLICATED PROCESS to make this happen?

If at all... there is a way to set up a server like what they have for onlive.... It would be EXTREMELY appreciated.... thanks in advance...
(if u stumble apon links regarding this subject please pass em on to me if u can)

The closest thing I've come across is remoting the computer, not quite cloud. SplashTop is a great program also has a streamer available for android devices (WoW from your phone but have a Bluetooth mouse) on my LG G2x I have about 1s delay in response but otherwise from 4g it's really nice. It has the ability to link computers to your gmail account, so you can make a list of computers to connect to. (also PC to PC is freeware.)

Sounds like this is just a remote control software... I was looking for something like where the server can be turned on.. wait a 1 min and then execute the software and stream directly and have ease to close the game.

I was looking online too and found this http://streammygame.com/smg/index.php it seemed to work except it wasn't compatable with steam games because of their DRM system.. I cannot execute the game directly from the .EXE file...

any more suggestions? would be greatly apprectiated
