I work for a doctor's office, and the people who used to work here had designed a website for us that is completely out-dated. How can you change an existing website. I have no idea who set it up or how they did it. If we hire someone to do it, will they be able to fix it?

What information will we need to give them so it can be changed? I've seen websites that have a login area for the website administrator, but I don't see that here. Who do I contact. unfortunately, the task of fixing this has been left to me, the clueless one. Thanks all!

    First Name:
well the website may have been set up in a number of ways

Do0 you have a domain name, this would have been registered and the ompany who is hosting your website will have there servers assigned to the domain

the website may be set up using a webcreation and hosting site - or the files created an uploaded via FTP onto the webspace
it may be web forwarding to some space you have for websites

    quite a lot of possibilites

one place to start is with

put your domain name in and see what info you have - who the admin for the domain is and the servers
