I need help. I have just bought a new laptop with the new XP Home operating system. I can't get my CM3 to work on it though. I have tried making the game compatable in the windows program but it still does not work. Does anyone know of any updates or any solutions? Will I just have to part with my beloved and buy CM4?

First, read and do everything in this thread. If nothing works, post back with exactly what the error message is (if there is one) or where it crashes, and with your system specs, using the dxdiag method in that link.

what thread? The error message only appears when I try to access the .exe file. The game installs ok but does not seem to be able to get going. The message says that this exe file is not a valid win32 application.
