Hi and welcome to TSG,

Can you get past that message and into Windows ?

What is the full model name of that HP laptop ?

Hi, Nebert, and welcome to TSG

Does the error message give you an option to go into the BIOS settings (where you can reset the BIOS settings) or to directly reset the BIOS to factory default settings?

If you reset the settings, set the correct date and time, and then get the same error after the laptop has been off for a while, the CMOS backup battery may need to be replaced.

If you need further assistance please tell us the exact and full model number of your HP laptop.
