    Hey Gang,

I saw the CSNY (Crosby, Stills Nash & Young) concert at the White River Ampitheatre near Tacoma, WA last night. I was impressed. For us, it was an open air concert and it was a beautiful night. They played all there best songs except for a few, Judy Blue Eyes, Southern Man and Cowngirl in the Sand.

I was wondering, Why wouldn't they have these songs? They were certainly hits. Why would they leave them out? They played many lesser known songs. I am perplexed. Was it because of song rights, or they just got sick of playing these songs?

Does anyone have any info on this?

Here's a link to the songs they'll play. I didn't check it before I went last night. You should!

PS> Marakesh Express isn't there either

I worked as a sound tech for numerous recording acts. The reasons for a band not playing some of their hits can vary; 1) the band does not own the song or has lost or sold the copyright. 2. The owner of the song has left the band. 3. The band chooses to feature newer material to promote a more recent album. 4. You were too stoned to recall their play-list.
